OxCon 2016

Well, things have been pretty quiet here lately, mainly because I haven't drawn much I can put up. But never fear, I haven't abandoned this little blog and I'll continue to update here whenever I've got something to show; even though I'm not sure anyone ever looks at this site anymore!

The main point of this post is to say that I'll be at the brand new Oxford ComicCon event on Sat 5th and Sun 6th of March. Me and my wife are going to have a stall there selling prints, postcards, tees and a very limited number of copies of Jenny Bones: Legend of the Peril Squad!
So if you want to have an awkward conversation with a man who looks like a sleepy potato in a hoodie, drop by and say hello.
I can't do a post with no images, so here is a small selection from a ton of pen drawings I did for Cinema Sewer recently:

More art soon!

Your art is astonishingly awesome, I agree there are surely many people out there who lurk this site. Thank you very much, Mr. Newman.

Absolutely love your site and artwork. You made me fall in love with you all over again when I saw a drawing from the movie Telephone Book.

Thanks Trang! Have you seen the film?

I lovey-dovey the song "Roller Girl" and your art do capture the essence most wonderfully.

Considering all the super fine babes you draw, I bet you'd dig my parody of
"Amazing Grace."

Yes, I have seen the film. The animated sequence at the end was a pleasant surprise. Did you have a favorite scene?

Thanks Tor! just watched your amazing grace, made me smile :)
Trang: yeah, I wasn't expecting that! My favourite bit is probably where the guy from the train is asking the girl to say crazy things in the cafe.
